Graphic Design Student Internship
California Lighting Technology Center
January 2009–August 2009
Performed various responsibilities ranging from day to day tasks to larger projects. Projects included the design and development of a web site for the PIER Group Purchasing Program, the concept for the redesign of another web site, the Lighting Portal, and the design for a display signage system to be installed in the center. Everyday tasks included coming up with design solutions for materials such as posters, brochures, PowerPoint presentations, e-mails and website updates. Other responsibilities include taking photographs of various events and materials for the center.

Assisted the Instructor in teaching a class on creating interactive designs using Processing. Involved instructing students though feedback on ideas and projects and helping students translate ideas into a visual prototype.
Web Developer

Developed and maintained the UC Davis Chemistry department web site. Performed updates on the current pages and mySQL database and created a PHP update system for the news.
